A Word of Welcome
An Introduction to PCASA
Thank you for your interest in PCASA, the Permanent Make-up Association of South Africa. PCASA was established in October 2011 and is a non-profit association owned, operated, and governed by its members.
Since its inception, PCASA has developed its own professional framework and operational guidelines to support ethical, safe, and high-quality standards within the permanent makeup industry. The association is structured to promote professionalism, accountability, and best practices among its members.
The Board Members of PCASA are elected by the membership and represent a diverse group of industry professionals. Board members serve limited terms to ensure fair representation and active governance. PCASA is governed by a Code of Ethics, which all members are required to uphold in order to maintain high standards within the industry.
PCASA aims to create public awareness of best practices in permanent makeup, providing protection for both the public and practitioners alike. Our goal is to support members in achieving excellence in treatment execution, advancing their skills through access to high-standard training programmes, encouraging ongoing professional development, and safeguarding the public against unethical or poor professional conduct.
